All Juniors and Seniors attending Community College: EOP is designed to improve access and retention of historically low-income and educationally disadvantaged students on CSU and community college campuses. EOP students have the potential and demonstrated motivation to perform satisfactorily but they have not been able to realize their potential because of their economic or educational background. The program provides admission and academic assistance to EOP-eligible undergraduate students. In many cases, the program offers financial assistance to eligible students. Campuses tailor their programs to accommodate the needs of their student population.

Fremont Union High School District – home to Cupertino, Fremont, Homestead, Lynbrook, and Monta Vista High Schools – closely monitors student enrollment projections in order to best prepare for facilities, staffing, and course offerings for FUHSD students.  Current projections indicate that while enrollment at most of the high schools is increasing, at Lynbrook High School student enrollment continues to decline.  More information about this matter can be found at http://www.fuhsd.org/AttendanceAreaInfo.

FUHSD Superintendent Polly Bove has created a Superintendent's ad hoc Citizens Advisory Committee on enrollment.  The purpose of this committee is to study the enrollment needs of FUHSD and all its aspects, and to provide a report and findings in order for the FUHSD Board of Trustees to make decisions for implementation in the 2017-2018 school year.  This committee will meet independently from the Board of Trustees and have an independent facilitator.  For additional information about the Citizens Advisory Committee, and to download an application, please visit http://www.fuhsd.org/CitizensAdvisoryCommittee
