In recognition of the critical role that communication, transparency and accessibility play in the relationship between the Fremont Union High School District (FUHSD) Board of Trustees and the parents, families and community members that reside in FUHSD, the Board will be piloting an Office Hours program over the course of the next year, beginning May 2017. It is our belief that regular, open-door meetings and dialogue between the Board and members of the community will help continue to strengthen positive communication and trust between the District and the students, families and residents that it serves.
You are invited to attend our first Board Office Hours session on Tuesday, May 9 at Lynbrook High School from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This new program will provide community members with the opportunity to find out more about the work of the Board and District, ask questions and provide valuable feedback. Trustees Jeff Moe and Roy Rocklin will be in attendance at this first Board Office Hours session. Please view the attached flyer for more details, or visit www.fuhsd.org/boardofficehours.
Homestead High School will not be offering Auto Tech 1 or 2 for the 2017-18 school year. If you/your student(s) requested Auto Tech, your alternate course will be added in its place. For more information, please click here for Mr. Giglio's April 2017 Principal's Message.
On Saturday June 24th at 6:00PM the 43rd Annual Charlie Wedemeyer High School All Star Football game at Levi’s Stadium will feature the very best graduating high school football players in Santa Clara County. Homestead High School will be represented by Rajah Ward playing for the South All Stars. This long-standing tradition has been the dream of many student athletes for decades. They get to play their last high school football game at Levi’s Stadium in front of a great crowd of fans and community supporters. This game is produced by the Rotary Club of Almaden Valley in partnership with the San Francisco 49ers and all proceeds go to charity.
