Homestead Cross Country teams advance to State meet!
For the first time in the history of HHS cross country, the boys and girls teams advanced to the State Meet simultaneously. The Lady Mustangs won their second consecutive CCS title, while the boys finished third in hard-fought battles. This was one of the best combined team showings at CCS in school history. Both teams now move on to the CIF State Meet which will be held on November 28th at the venerable Woodward Park course in Fresno. In addition, Homestead's girls cross country team is one of the top five varsity 2015 fall scholastic championship teams with the highest collective grade-point average of all teams competing in that sport in CCS. Congratulation to both teams!
congratulations girls tennis!
At CCS Singles and Doubles competition, both Freshman Zoe C. competing in singles and the doubles team of Senior Alisha P. and Freshman Ashna R. made it to the second round before being eliminated, finishing the 2015 Varsity Girls Season. Great work done by the whole team this year.
